49ers running back Brandon Jacobs sent out these two tweets a few minutes ago. We don't have any more specifics, but given the injury he sustained last night and the fact that he was undergoing an MRI this morning, I am hoping this is the kind of news we were hoping for at this point.

Jacobs took a nasty shot somewhere around his knee or thigh last night and was in serious pain. The trainers were feeling around the inside of his knee, but we didn't get anything more specific, other than Coach Harbaugh saying it was not a season-ender. So, for now, fingers remain crossed on the medical front!
