This RB thing is weird. Coach brings in the big back; Jacobs. He has drafted a "Scat-back" each year; Hunter/James. Dixon and Cartwright make it to the 75 man cut. Clearly there are other places where this team has needs - Ex. Safety and always need DBs... OLB? What is up with the RBs? Gore's value to another team like Detroit or Jacksonville could be huge. Gore's numbers have not been on the upswing the past couple years. On a team with fewer touches he may last longer. This past season at the end he looked tired and was not efficient.

Is Harbaugh looking to get some value out of Gore? Is this why the roster has what - seven? Count them, seven RBs? I can make a strong argument for making that trade. Another point - Alex will be called upon to make more passes. He has some silly weapons. 4,000 yards, 35 TDs, 10 pickles seems right. One bruising back and two jitterbugs is a good combo - enough. Something is not right here. WIll Gore get too few carries to anger him? Are these other backs here to "Spell" Gore? It's G.O.R.E. fellahs. WIll Jacobs not make the team. Wasn't he hurt often in NYC? He's hurt again. Dunno how it will play out but something "Hinkee" is here, OR, Coach has a an angle I'm missing.
