Coach Harbaugh - a Very Smart Man

Stay connected for news and updates

Once again, I was impressed by Coach. Truly, he reminds me of that old story about Milton Berle (sp). Milton supposedly had a big one. During a contest he impressed those in attendance - then claimed he only pulled out enough to win. That's our Coach. Confident, he refuses to show all this team's tools. Coach only shows enough to win. He does not risk needlessly. In this league, where talent is ubiquitous and so very close, games are won by inches, exploiting opportunity, and not making mistakes. This team in in safe hands. This Coach is a blessing. I'll refer everyone to comments and opinions away from the Homers Sites like the NFL channel. CONSENSUS = The Niners would lose - No IF, No AND, No But. The Niners would play a yeoman's game, but they would lose - fly home better primed to beat the Lions. GB was just too good. SF is no match for those GB receivers and Aaron Rodger - Rodgers is just too darned good - He's MVP!!! Well, well, well, The 49ers beat GB despite the refs and a defensive series that gave away unearned points - rushing 3 D Linemen. WTF? Only that call made me uneasy. Otherwise, this game was in hand early and stayed that way. My only criticism is targeted at 3rd downs. That stat needs improvement, but Coach will not risk needlessly. Apparently, I must anticipate this season knowing; my finger nails will be short and my nerves spent after each win. Oh well. I can live with that.
