That was an incredible game, I'll admit I didnt think that was gonna happen at all. Even as it was happening I kept thinking, great we'll settle for a field goal here and lose by one, great now they got the legendary Lambeau refs back and are gonna lose by one.. and then they shut down Rodgers at the end and won the thing! Looking back Im ashamed of my lack of faith. Patrick Willis would've kicked my ass.
But I will say moving forward that this team looks really good, and not just because they won the 1st game of the season; its the way they won. The D played great but they didnt have to win the game for us, granted they had to stop the final drive, but there no pick six or fumble scored on, and it wasn't like Rodgers had a meltdown and threw 4 ints, there was only 1. Same went for the ST.. no returns for TDs or even huge run backs.. the scoring was all done by who is supposed to score: the offense. We look awesome for sure, especially when looking at the other games this weekend.
Steeler D looks like they signed up the geriatric ward, minus the wheel chairs. Its tackle football, not push the ball carrier around, and did Payton even get touched?
LOL Kolb. Everyone is jumping on his wagon again? Good job coming in as back up and winning, but that happens quite often when you have 2 QBs that are both about the same. Take luck now that DCs are game planning for you next week.
LOL Carroll. This one is a given each week, but still.. 4 time outs and you still cant win? You suck diddly uck
Flanders Carroll. OchoCinco is still available for pickup, and if you look around you might find another QB to pay as well, just keep flipping switches baby.
Overall, its looking pretty sunny in SF
