Vic Fangio chatted with KNBR yesterday and he had a pretty great line when asked about any concerns about a letdown this week:

While I have been impressed with the 49ers thus far, the letdown concern has remained at the back of my head. I am not certain of anything, but the concern just remains in my head. I've seen several mentions here and elsewhere about the fact that while the 49ers are playing great, there is the concern of peaking in September.

This team seems to approach thing from a very business-like perspective, so I don't know if there really is anything to make of that. In a perfect world, they are just a good team that rolls through the season. Right now, this seems like a team that can avoid distractions, but we know how quickly things can change. Is it something to think about, let alone worry about?
