The 49ers and Jets are into the second quarter and we have seen some interesting developments thus far. The most notable is Colin Kaepernick getting some action on a pair of interesting plays in the first quarter, running an option play and then throwing deep. It got particularly interesting though when the 49ers brought in Kaepernick on 3rd and 6 deep in Jets territory. He ran the QB keeper to give the 49ers a 7-0 lead early in the second quarter. Not too shabby.

I am really curious to see how frequently the 49ers use Kaepernick the rest of this game. Things just got really interesting.
