The 49ers struck first against the Jets s Colin Kaepernick was brought in to run a QB keeper from the Jets seven yard line. The play was on 3rd and 6 in the second quarter, which was a risky play with the second year QB. Fortunately the Jets probably could not stop me at this point. Kaepernick was keeping pretty much from the get-go and scored the easy touchdown, giving the 49ers a 7-0 lead.
