Next Man Up

Parys Haralson is done for the year. End of story. It's not the end of our San Francisco 49ers season by any means. We know we have a regime that gets the most out of every single player on the roster. They even get the most out of every player not on the roster (think practice squad). We've brought in Clark Haggans to provide some depth at OLB. The jury is still out on the 35 year journeyman OLB. Last year was remarkable since we made it all season with only 3 outside linebackers. This year could still be the same. The point here is that our coaches and players see the bigger picture. This will not slow us down. This will not stop The Machine.

Also don't forget about Cam Johnson. He survived the waiver wire. I'm pretty sure the 49ers brass rejoiced when he was able to be placed on the practice squad. His knee is fine and I wouldn't be surprised if he was placed on the 53 within the first 3 weeks of the season.
