I have always hated Randy Moss's face. He just always looks smug. And when I heard that we acquired him, I was not pleased. While I'm not completely sold on the man, with his great stats and records and blah blah, I have hope that he'll be what we need him to be.
How sweet was that touchdown for Randy? Do you think he remembered his Vikings games there? Being a petty person, I got extra joy from that touchdown. I've been to Lambeau eight times, and I've seen the Packers win five times. Once was against the Niners (2009). And I'm still bitter about that game, which makes this win even sweeter.
Is it wrong that I feel vindicated? We beat the Packers, in their house, decisively. And Randy Moss was an integral part of this win. But he was the a-hole, glory boy receiver on so many other good teams. I remember hating him, hard. But now he's ours. So, what do I do with that?
At this point, I don't care. We f'ing won. We broke the Jerry Rice Fumble curse. We beat them at Lambeau for the first time in 20 years. My husband is in bed, sleeping off the loss. I don't want to go to bed, because I'll wake up and this win will be a dream.
Randy Moss is part of my good dream. Um. What is this world?
Oh, and for those of you who don't know bradyfan83 on youtube, here's his brilliant tribute to Randy Moss.
