The Denver Broncos host the Baltimore Ravens in the first of four divisional round matchups. We take a look at some pertinent details and provide an open thread for discussion.
The NFL divisional round matchups kick off Saturday afternoon with the Denver Broncos hosting the Baltimore Ravens at 1:30 p.m. PT. The divisional round has featured some all-time great matchups, so we'll see if this game can live up to the expectations. Ray Lewis is looking to continue his run in what marks his final season before retirement. Peyton Manning continues his comeback from neck woes and looks to lead the hottest team in the league into the AFC Championship Game.
Two of our nine front page writers predicted the Ravens in this game. Upsets are certainly possible, but everything seems to point to the Broncos. Ray Lewis will look to lead some inspired play, but the Broncos just seem to good for the Ravens, and the Ravens have struggled too much on the road. I'd actually love to see a Ravens upset, but it would be quite the surprise.
Here is some pertinent info for the game. Additionally, check out the rundown of the rest of playoff TV info this weekend. We'll be back 90 minutes before the game with inactives. If anything pops up in the meantime, we'll post that as well, so keep an eye on the front page.
