Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The 49ers will face either the Falcons or Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game. We take a look at the start time

The San Francisco 49ers will face either the Atlanta Falcons or Seattle Seahawks in the 2013 NFC championship game this Sunday on FOX. The game time is officially set no matter the opponent, with the game scheduled for noon PT. It looks like the start time alternates with the AFC championship game each year. Last year the 49ers and Giants played the late game, but this year it will be an early game.

The 49ers will either host the Seahawks, or travel to face the Falcons, depending on how this divisional round matchup finishes. The Falcons dominated the first half, but the Seahawks have gotten on the board early in the second half, cutting the lead to 20-7. We'll see if the Falcons can respond, and not let a potential collapse get into their heads.

Personally, I kind of wanted to play the Seahawks for two reasons: 1) It would mean a home game for the conference championship, and 2) it would be nice to be the team eliminating Seattle. If that doesn't happen, so be it, but there's still a lot of football left in Atlanta.
