The San Francisco 49ers have begun their preparations for Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Atlanta Falcons, which means it is time for a week of press conferences. Head coach Jim Harbaugh will meet with the media at 11:30 a.m. PT. I'd imagine he'll get a chance to discuss the 49ers practice plans this week, although this is a fairly normal game week now with a Sunday game planned.

I am more interested in what Coach Harbaugh does to put the 49ers into an underdog state. I'd imagine he will rain down praise on the Falcons throughout, even as the 49ers sit as 3 1/2 point favorites. Coach Harbaugh will likely speak with the media three times this week, and I imagine that will be a storyline worth following through each.
