This is a completely random story that would likely fit in just fine in the Golden Nuggets. But I found it interesting and wanted to get it out there a bit more. Yesterday, Cam Inman wrote up that on Sunday, Patrick Willis and Ray Lewis ended up hanging out on Facetime on their iPhones while watching the Falcons-Seahawks game.
I wonder how quickly we'll see an iPhone or other Apple ad for Facetime featuring Willis and Lewis? It seems like a pretty can't miss advertising opportunity. Given the level these two are at in the annals of NFL history, and that's pretty big time.
If the 49ers and Ravens were to make it to the Super Bowl, the big story would be Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh. However, the end of Ray Lewis and the continued rise of Patrick Willis isn't too bad a storyline. This would not be some kind of "passing of the torch" because Willis claimed the torch long ago. However, it would still be interesting, particularly at the end of the game when I have to think they would hug and say a few words to each other. Now, THAT would be a picture to have.
