When it's been 22 years - what do you get, another playoff loss and deeper into a neurotic psychosis that may eventually have you lashing out in some obscene and violent display of irrational behaviors that brings infamy and disrepute upon the source of your angst - the TEAM and the fan base with whom you share an obsession. 22 years - did you know? Were you aware The JOE was the last 49er QB to win a playoff road game? Did cha? Huh?

22 years is a very long time. That's nuts. That's not even funny. Consider all the wins Young had, he never won a road playoff game. I'm rethinking my support for his HOF membership. Well, all I know is this road win drought is over. The ODDS are in the 49ers' favor this weekend. Freaking dumb luck favors a Niner win. AND… there are clear Signs this road loss nightmare is over.

1. My wife and I were in Vegas last week and the wife won some coin gambling while the game against GB was on. That is a sure indication of a 49er win.

2. Today, while driving to work I saw three Tundra pickups, all black, all extended cabs, all had the same 24" American Racing Wheels... I was driving one! That definitely is another good Omen.

3. I checked the phase of the moon for Sunday - it's waxing Gibbous - AND - it's in Taurus!!! WOW! For the uninformed; waxing Gibbous means the moon will be more than half full and high in the East at sunset - get it? Nearly Full and in the EAST!??? Moon in Taurus = "It isn't wise to try to push Lunar Taureans into doing anything, but once they have made a commitment, they're persevering." The 49ers were founded in May 1946 - the Team is a Taurus!!!

The last road win was against the Bears January 14, 1989. The Bears had the best record in the NFC that year - due to a miserably weak schedule - just like the Falcons!!! The similarities of this match-up are more than eerie and very, very positive.
