We're one day away from getting to the next level ... again. I'm really, truly glad that all of my MLB and NHL superstition hasn't rubbed off on my football self. For some reason, baseball and hockey fans can be incredibly superstitious, believing in signs, luck, karma, and all of that intangible stuff.
When it comes to the San Francisco 49ers, I believe in more tangible things ... like a Donte Whitner explosion from the secondary to make a big tackle or a Colin Kaepernick slant pass thrown with enough force to give Rex Ryan's rolls enough momentum to shift the planet out of orbit.
Cool things like that. None of this "OH GOD I WORE THIS SHIRT WHEN THEY LOST LAST TIME I'M THE WORST!" stuff that I do every time I watch the San Francisco Giants.
The 49ers are a better football team and they will be playing in the Super Bowl. This year. Bank on it. Aaron has ya'll tomorrow so I'll sign off with a simple: GO NINERS!! Enjoy.
