Ok yes the superbowl is coming up and why worry about this now right? Because I CAN! Revis is on the block and people are already mentioning niners as a potential trade partner. With the Jets obvious need for draft picks and a QB and the niners' surplus in both categories why not right? Revis could make this defense one of the the best ever assuming he doesnt pull an Asomugha on us. The questions that remain are A. would we want to pull the trigger on this? And B. What would the price and effect on the team be? If I'm our FO I'm offering Alex Smith+ Carlos Rogers(salary exchange mostly)+our extra 3rd and 5th round picks. Losing rogers could disrupt the chemistry.. But I can't help but feel Revis will be excited and eager to join this group and make it work. Thoughts??
