Golden Nuggets: Again, bye weeks suck

USA TODAY Sports

Friday, January 25, 2012 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of 49ers links from around the web.

I've had to sit through two bye weeks this season, and you've had to sit through me complaining about them. Make no mistake, I'm absolutely stoked that we have to sit through a third, but man I wish there was no week between the championship games and the Super Bowl.

And on top of that, I also think that the Baltimore Ravens benefit more from the bye week than our 49ers. Their defense has been on the field a lot and they're getting up there in years. I think the 49ers would have been much better off, and would have lasted longer.

Fortunately, a week isn't that long. Anyway, quick links, you know the drill. Enjoy.
