The 49ers and Ravens released injury reports with game-day designations on Friday, and it seems like John Harbaugh has learned a lesson or two from Bill Belichick in regards to game status. The Ravens listed 19 players as questionable for next Sunday's game. I was a bit surprised to see game status reports anyway, given that we're a week away. I imagine we'll see more, and this might just be a mid-point update.
For the 49ers, Garrett Celek is the only questionable player after sitting out the three days of practice this week. There were no questions of Harbaugh about Celek's status for next Sunday. The third tight end isn't a huge deal, but given the 49ers extensive use of tight ends and other extra blockers, it is still notable. The 49ers don't have a backup tight end after Celek, as Demarcus Dobbs was the alternative. I imagine Celek will play, but we'll keep an eye on it.
Ahmad Brooks sat out Wednesday and Thursday practice, but was able to get back on the field in a limited fashion on Friday. Other than that, not a whole lot changed this week. The video above is something I put together Friday afternoon with some fairly basic discussion of both teams.
