January , 2013 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of 49ers links from around the web.
I'm getting these Nuggets done earlier than usual because I'm a busy man. I would really and truly hope there is no late-breaking news on this Sunday before the Super Bowl. If there is, that's usually a bad thing. There's not much news of note, anyway. The team arrived in New Orleans and are getting down to business. One article I'd like to point out is the link directly below on Frank Gore. He's amazing and is truly a great leader for our team. I learned some new stuff about him in the piece and have more respect than ever (if that was possible).
Here's a bit on Frank Gore and why he's so special. Didn't know he went into high school with a third grade reading level due to a learning disability. | Frank Gore is 49ers' spiritual leader (Mercury News)

Ah, right next to my hometown of Fairfield, one can go down and get a $49 49er tattoo. Wish I was there. I'd get Sourdough Sam riding John Elway like a donkey while pointing to a scoreboard that says 55-10. I have no idea how these rumors get started. Everyone knows that the New York Jets will not be able to afford Darrelle Revis as they're about a billion dollars over the cap. We're not going to be able to afford him either. Not without parting with some of our best defenders. | 49ers are interested in Darrelle Revis, but is it possible? (Gin)
