The San Francisco 49ers cruised to victory in Week 7, defeating the Tennessee Titans 31-17, in a game that was not as close as the score reflected. The 49ers jumped out to a big lead, and were content mixing in several bench players throughout the game.
Glenn Dorsey was the big question mark heading into the game, dealing with a hamstring strain suffered in the first quarter of last week's game. Dorsey was active and got the start against Tennessee, but he played very limited snaps. Dorsey was in on 12 snaps, while Tony Jerod-Eddie got 20 snaps and Quinton Dial got 7 snaps. Dial spent a decent amount of time at defensive end, as the 49ers spent the latter part of the game playing Dial, Jerod-Eddie and Demarcus Dobbs in their base set.
Eric Reid suffered a lower leg injury, but only missed one play after the injury. He apparently had a noticeable limp an hour after the game, so we'll have to wait and see what this means for Week 8. While I would be fine giving Reid a week off plus the bye to recover, I'm not overly excited about the thought of Craig Dahl spending too much time in the secondary.
