Saw this posted today, and decided to type up a (very) quick fanpost on it. I'm going to put my predictions out there so everyone can laugh at them, but please put yours out as well in the comment section. Maybe we'll compare notes after the Niners win the Superbowl.
Most improved player? LaMichael James. He will be given a chance in the return game, and will shine.
Most improved rookie? Quinton Patton. After coming back from an untimely foot injury, he will become a reliable target for Kap and will show off his SICK dance moves.
Who redeems themself after a slow start? LaMichael James.
Which lineman finishes the season in the strongest fashion? Staley.
Which WR takes over the number two spot after Boldin? I really want to say the General, but my prediction is Boldin. Crabtree will be the #1 guy, so Boldin will be #2. MM will be third, and the General will be #4...for now.
Predict how LMJ will be used in the offense, and when will he have his biggest game? Primarily in the return game. He will get occasional shots as a COP back, but with Gore and Hunter he won't get many chances. Biggest game? Against the Seahawks in the playoffs.
Who will lead the 49ers in sacks the rest of the way? Aldon Smith. I am going off the assumption that he has honestly started the recovery process, and will have the support of his team. He will have some frustrations, and will use that to focus his game and make improvements.
Who will lead the 49ers in interceptions the rest of the way? Too tough of a call to make for me. There will be three people within one of each other, and one of the three will be Reid. The other two: Brown and Wright.
Who will make the Pro-Bowl, yet will end up missing the game due to the 49ers playing in the Super Bowl? Davis, Staley, Bowman, Willis, Iupati, and Gore.
