007 Sky Not Falling!

I haven't posted a lot as of late, but I felt the needed to with all the sky is falling type talk I have heard. Now do I feel like we are the best team in the NFL? NO! Do I think we are Top 4-5? YES! We still have a very good defense and some how we all seem to forget that Colin is barely getting into his second season (as far as playing). We still have a solid run game and I think Colin is taking the same steps as many other players. It is like anything that we do. We get into something, doing well and then we run into struggles. Then we must learn how to over come them.

This kid played well last season, coaches had a whole off season to see why. Now they are putting him in situations that he is not as good at. Now he will have to learn how to beat those situations. This will be a back and forth thing for many years. No one is perfect. Experience is more valuable then some might think. Last year he got pressured and he would run and this year he is trying to stand in the pocket and make a play with his mind and his arm. Now some of you might say well why not just start bailing and just run again? Well he could, but what does he learn from that? I would rather in the regular season he sit in the pocket and learn to handle the pressure. You can not truly practice this, in practice he knows no one will touch him. Guys like Mike Vick never learned how to play in the pocket and is very limited. Our team is good enough to make the playoffs while he learns. This is good for him in the long run. And I would also like to note that I don't think we have great route combinations and play calling. And lets not forget, ever since Jim Harbaugh got here we have had pre-snap clock issues. As far as I know Roman gives the play to Harbaugh who then gives it to Colin which is not a timely system. But I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. Also, I think Crabtree will be huge if he is himself. Mario doesn't scare people like Crabtree does. Crabtree was never a speed guy, so I feel good about him coming off the injury.
