Good news fellow members, Patton has been seen in a jersey! Plus, as an added bonus, he was working with Bowman. Though he's not quite there yet injury wise, he should be back soon.
Now, onto new business. Item #1: What to name our group. This has been the General's Bandwagon since meeting #1, but it was brought up that we should change the name. I will leave a poll at the end of the meeting for all of our members to decide. I personally like Battlewagon.
Item #2: Bad news. After doing the calculations many, many different ways there is one irrefutable fact. Please, if you are standing, sit down before you read this next sentence.
Quinton Patton will not get rookie of the year.
Go ahead and recover from the shock. I'll wait until you're done.
Now, with this bad piece of news, some will just give up. Some would just surrender and go root for the Chiefs. But not those of us who follow Quinton! We will never give up! We will root for another goal for our beloved WR. It is time to root for him to win MVP of the Superbowl!
Item #3: Let us give a moment of silence for the passing of Kyle Williams to the Chiefs. Ok, that's enough silence. We wish him well in his future endeavors. I do think that this is a clear sign that not only is the General going to be back soon, but he'll be a part of our offense.
Item #4: I am asking all of you on the bandwagon to pray/hope/wish/sacrifice a goat/eat some ice cream/dance/whatever for NO MORE INJURIES. Though I firmly believe that Patton could carry the team on his back to win #6 if needed, it makes things much easier (and much more fun to watch) if the rest of the 49ers are healthy. I think we've had injuries every single game this year. Stay healthy San Fran!
Despite our close loss to the Panthers, there is still much hope. We are the 49er fans. We are members of the greatest bandwagon this side of Niners Nation. Quinton was seen practicing with one of the greatest LB's in the game today (and really, who is much tougher than Bowman?) Even Crabtree should be back soon. If you start to lose hope, just imagine Gore in the backfield, VD as our TE, Kap as our QB, and Crabtree, Boldin, and Patton as our WR's. Plus remember our never-say-die defense.
We are the General's Bandwagon, and we can do whatever we want! Quinton Patton for Superbowl MVP!
