Goldson - Buyers Remorse

Looks like folks down in Tampa are beginning to have buyers remorse over Dashon Goldson. The ex-49er sat out this past weekend's game due to a suspension for an illegal hit. Now the suspension wasn't just over 'one hit' but as you know a well-documented pattern of illegal hits, and he couldn't appeal his way out of this $265K fine and suspension - not this time.

Here's a tid-bit of what they're saying at TampaBay.com:

"Despite fines totaling nearly $400,000 and enough yellow flags thrown his way to stitch together a king-sized comforter, Goldson still hasn't figured out that you can't act like a Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robot knocking people's blocks off. And now you have to question if paying Goldson all that money ($41 million) was worth it."

So Goldson is basically playing himself out of the league making him one of the best non-extensions that 49ers GM Trent Baalke has ever made. By the way, I love the way his replacement (Eric Reid) has played this year.
