In case you are wondering about Tank Carradine's status this weekend

Jason O. Watson

Will Tank Carradine play this weekend? All signs point to no.

We have this from Tank Carradine:

Vic Fangio would not commit to anything, although his discussion of Tank would seem to indicate just as much:

"He's progressing and getting better. He's still fighting through his injury and fighting through learning the system and playing the way we want to play. He's making good progress."

It is entirely possible Fangio is snow-balling on this. Of course, given that he said we would see Aldon Smith, I'm not sure if he would want to BS us. And given that Tank was not entirely optimistic, my guess is he is one of the seven inactives this Sunday against the Panthers. It's hard to figure out given that Tank is not appearing on the injury report, but I'm not entirely sure how disclosure works for a guy coming off the NFI list.
