In the wake of the whole Incognito/Martin scandal going public and the firestorm of controversy it's created in Miami, I can't see either of them ever suiting up for the Phins again. While I'm not sure Incognito will ever get a job again, I think Martin absolutely deserves another shot in the NFL. Why not with the Niners?
Harbaugh is obviously familiar with Martin having coached him (and trusted Andrew Luck's blindside to him) at Stanford. He's got ability, and looked pretty solid at RT before Jake Long's departure forced him over the the left side, where admittedly he looked overmatched. But for a swing tackle, he has ability and upside. And I think with the veteran leadership we have on our team and the hardline control Harbs has over the locker room, the possibilty of another hazing incident would be minimal.
So, what do you think? Could he be a valuable addition to our squad, or do you think he's not worth the potential consequences?
