The acquisition of Stephen Jackson was a typical move by a franchise who is giving lip service to becoming more physical. Though Jackson has been banged up most of the season, Atlanta actually has 2 other good backs who might be better suited to have success with a line who doesn't get much if any push. But of course atlanta's pass to run ratio is completely out of whack.
There is no question in my mind Ryan could lead a team to a Super Bowl, but he is stuck with a team and organization who has fallen into that pass happy, finesse football that is great for September and October. But it has very rarely won in late December and January. I just feel bad for the guy because he is performing miracles with that OL. If we had him as our QB, we would have back to back Super Bowls titles.
