I have been hoping and hoping the 49ers would get another game or two at Candlestick. Well, I'm giving up on that thought now. In order for us to play again at the Stick, we would have to beat first Green Bay and then Carolina(tougher task). Also, New Orleans would have to first beat the Eagles, and then beat seattle in seattle. I think we could hold up our end, but I do think the seahawks would just crush the Saints. I prefer the scenario where we beat Green Bay and the Eagles beat the Saints. Seattle hosts the lowest seeded team and that would be us. I figure, most likely, on our way to the Super Bowl, we will have to beat Green Bay, seattle, and Carolina. I would prefer to play the seahawks before we get into a slugfest with Carolina.I don't want us to limp into our game in seattle. Let's assume we beat Green Bay and Kaep has another great day against the Packers D. We will go into the seattle game on a roll, psycologically, and statistically. Seattle on the other hand, doesn't always play well after a bye. I think this is our best shot. If we play them in the Championship Game, they will have creamed the Saints and will be feeling pretty good about themselves.( not that they don't always) If we lose, we will be in better draft position than if we lost in the NFCCG, and also, most likely, seattle would still have to beat Carolina to get to the Super Bowl. We are relatively healthy now, this is our time! Also, how sweet would it be to knock the greatest team of all time out of the playoffs before they've won one game!!! Yes, yes, of course the refs will be to blame!!
