There's a legitimate possibility that the Browns could sign Joe Flacco and pay Baltimore two first round draft picks. That #6 overall pick probably has less value this year than in any other season -- BAL has nobody to draft, they'd be in the cellar for 2+ seasons. Meanwhile, Joe Flacco and Norv Turner light it up in Cleveland.
Another factor is the insane amount of cap space the Browns have, $48m in 2013. They can sign FAs instead of drafting players for the next two years. This brings in Alex Smith -- if there's an opening in BAL, Smith is the perfect fit.
