The Deficient Art Of Drafting A WR For This Franchise!!

Not since the days of you guessed it, Rice & Taylor has this franchise drafted a lethal 1-2 punch that revolutionized the game. Is it a curse or is it a form of atonement for the past glory years? Sure they had TO, but he left for greener pastures when he just was finding himself. And now they have Crabtree who has just began to, "find himself".

During the time of those two men this team went through a plethora of misfits. Names that hurt me to bring up that we all know such as: J.J. Stokes, Tai Streets, Derrick Hamilton, Rashaun Woods, Brandon Williams, Jason Hill. If you want to become a manic depressive you can look for yourself here. By the way wasn't trying to make you guys ralph, eventhough I probably did a good job at it. Just makes you wonder what on earth was our GM's/HC's at the time scouting? Although, this teams identity is not about "airing the ball out" for a lack of a better term, it is being able to be "mulitple" as GRo loves to say in his conferences with the media. So how can a team go multiple without a #2 WR? Yes, there are the tight ends we have on this team to compensate. But as we are fast approaching FA, can we re-sign Delanie Walker aka Droptimus Prime? (props to the NN folks that came up with that nickname). If they can, would they want to? Anyway I digress, I refuse to think Harbaalke can not draft a WR core ala. GB, ATL or the Giants. As much as it pains me to say, yes the Giants WR core is a good tandem. I mean Nicks and Cruz oh my!

Who should we draft? Since we can't get the Cordarrelle Paterson's of the world, like alot of you I like Justin Hunter but that's not who this team should go for first. Why you say? Because, for a three year letterman, one year of one thousand yards is not enough production for me. Yes, it's not his fault that Tennesse is just abysmal. Also, he just seems a little on the fragile side. I maybe wrong there with his body holding up in the NFL but that's just me. So again who should we draft? Stedman Bailey! Yes, let that name rrrooooll off your collective tongues.

Not only does he make dazzling plays that you can look at HERE, Here & here but this biletnikoff finalist produces! As a three year letterman, this guy just got better with age. And if you are thinking of doubting the talent level that he played he went from the BIG EAST to producing the most in the BIG XII conference. If you are still doubting the level of competition he played against he torched Morris Claiborne, a top ten pick last year mind you, for a tune of 8 catches, 115 yards and 1 TD. This kid is the real deal. So again let it roooooll of your tougue Stedman Bailey.

P.S. - The last time I did a fanpost about a potiential pick for this franchise it was "I Got A Case of LMJ". I'm hoping I can be 2 for 2!
