Who would you most want to see in the next episode of America's Game: The Missing Rings? A few years ago, the NFL Network released a series that chronicled the stories of successful teams that failed to win the Super Bowl. Specifically, they interviewed players from the 81' San Diego Chargers, the 90' Buffalo Bills, the 69' Minnesota Vikings, the 98' Minnesota Vikings, and the 88' Cincinnati Bengals.
The stories are bittersweet, as players like Dan Fouts, John Randle, and Boomer Esiason recount their hopes and accomplishments for that season only to have their dreams crushed in the end.
Now I realize the common theme is that none of the above mentioned teams has EVER won a Super Bowl in their entire franchise history, so it's implied that the 2012 49ers wouldn't be eligible, since they have already won 5 Super Bowls (81', 84', 88', 89', and 94').
Still, I think it would be great to commemorate this 2012 San Francisco 49ers team from a fan perspective because they did work so hard to get so far and helped revolutionize NFL offenses with their success running the pistol/read-option.
So if there ever was a 'Missing Rings' episode that included last year's squad, which players or coaches would you be most interested in seeing interviewed?
