Our Current picks:
1/31, 2/34, 2/61, 3/74, 3/94, 4/TBD (for J. Morgan), 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7, 7
*this going to somewhat vague, just laying out the framework for the first 4 rounds*
Vaccaro S Texas-falls to the 17-22 range and we trade the 1/31 pick and 3/74 to take him. Vaccaro has been noted as the Safety that is closest to Eric Berry's skill set when he came out (I know he's not Berry, but if we can get him mid to late round I'll take him in a heart beat). I am kinda hoping we keep Goldson and bench Whitner to pair up Vaccaro and Goldson up if this plays out.
2/34: Margus Hunt DE S Methodist- Hunt is a workout warrior, destroyed the combine, and has a body type similar to the Cowboy's and would be a nice replacement when he eventually leaves.
2/61: Trade with a team trying to get their player. Hopefully this pick and a 4th for 2014 1st rounder (not sure if this could happen but I want us in the Clowney sweepstakes and this could do it).
3/94: Tyrann Mathieu- He has a chip on his shoulder and he wants to go out there and prove it, he's a top 10 talent but has a medicinal herb addiction. But the FO has taken risks on players before (Cox, Moss), but they have no where near the talent the Badger has at this point in time. Also gives us KR/PR option.
After the trade, trade back into the 4th round for a 2nd 4th round pick (probably a 5th and 6th)
4/??: gonna just expect its a mid round pick. Dar'rick Rodgers WR Tenn Tech- 6 3 208, gives us size to go with Crabs.
4: EJ Manuel QB FSU- We need another QB for the depth chart, hes 6-4 240. Fast, strong, pretty good arm. Same skill set as Kaep so the offense wouldn't change if (god forbid) he has to come out of the game. Also would bring in good comp for the 2 spot with ST.
I know it looks like it was thrown together in a few minutes (because it was) but these are just some players I've been keeping my eye on. What do yall think? (go easy on me please. haha)
