Compare to the scoring by quarter for the first two 2013 playoff games:
49ers

1st:7
2nd: 31
3rd: 14
4th: 21
Opposition
1st: 24
2nd: 21
3rd: 3
4th: 7

The 49ers scored 73 points, the opposition scored 55 points. As in 1984, '88, and '89, so far the Niners have been very good at distancing themselves from their opponents in the second half, scoring lots of points without giving up many. If the trend continues, it's hard to see them losing to the Ravens. And in case the Ravens get out to an early lead, well, obviously the Niners overcame that vs. Green Bay and Atlanta.
