Hello 49ers fans,

I'm a Seahawks fan and just wanted to say how excited I am for what the future holds for the rivalry between the Hawks and Niners. I personally believe that our rivalry has surpassed the Steelers/Ravens rivalry as the premier rivalry in football. For years the AFC North was the place to go to watch hard nosed, physical football. That style of football has taken hold in the NFC West. All of the teams in the division have started to play very physical defense but the Hawks/Niners are the headliners. Both teams are built for the long run and we should enjoy great football for at least a decade. Throw in a couple of young franchise QB's and this rivalry has the potential of an all time NFL rivalry that will be legendary.

I hate the 49ers as I'm sure you guys hate the Seahawks but I have a ton of respect for the niners. As somebody who played and coached the game I love and respect the style of football that both teams play. Two teams committed to defense and running the football. In a NFL where teams are more than happy to launch the football 40 times a game its refreshing to see two teams who are dedicated to playing the game the right way at least in my eyes.
