ESPN Sportsnation released it's bracket style voting process for the cover of Madden 25 (it's called 25 because of its 25th anniversary) and new and old Niners are eligible to become the new face of the football video game. Kaepernick is listed as #1 seed and faces Antonio Gates in the first round. But in a twist this year, past greats can also become the cover winner and the two legends from the Niners include Joe Montana, a #1 seed facing Jake Delhomme while #1 seed Jerry Rice takes on Fred Taylor. Despite Calvin Johnson's terrific year last season I'm still inclined to believe in the "Madden Curse" and hoping that Kaepernick eventually loses and doesn't get on the cover. (He did an interview earlier today and told ESPN he doesn't believe in the curse) What do you guys think? Vote Antonio Gates?
