Did John toss Jim a cake?

Most of us would agree that a tough, veteran, receiver like Anquan Boldin is worth more than a 6th round draft pick. For a guy that's made a career pushing defensive backs around and making clutch catches as a possession receiver, I would have marked his trade value around a 2nd or 3rd round pick, so for the 49ers to snag him at such a low price is more than a steal - it's downright SUSPICIOUS!

This is basically John Harbaugh's way of trying to mend the fences with younger bro Jim, after ruffling his feathers in the Super Bowl. After all, the Ravens could have could dangled Boldin on the open market like the 49ers have been
doing with Alex Smith and surely received more than a back-end draft pick, but instead they gave Jim Harbaugh a cake for damn near free. Apparently Jim's lobbying has finally paid off...
