This is totally off topic but I can't find an answer, so I'm asking you guys.
In Windows, while using Chrome, I use Ctrl+ (A/C/V/X) a lot. Sometimes my fingers slip and I end up hitting either (Shift or Ctrl or Fn)+ (god knows which key on the keyboard). Whatever key-combo I am hitting, results in Chrome reformatting my keyboard. For example, "c" becomes ";". No key is what it was. I have to restart Chrome to reset it to default.
I am obviously shortcutting to some other format of a keyboard but I can't ever recreate it, so I don't know which keys exactly I've hit for this mystery shortcut. More importantly, I don't know how to undo it without restarting Chrome. Also, I am pretty sure this change occurs only in Chrome, as Word or whatnot retains the default keyboard format.
So, what am I doing, exactly, how am I doing it, and more importantly, how do I undo it using shortcut keys?
Thanks, NN. Sorry to use valuable Fanpost acreage for such a silly issue, but I really can't find an answer.
