Anquan Boldin passes physical, meets with media

49ers wide receiver Anquan Boldin meets Jim Harbaugh for the first time - @AnquanBoldin

Newly acquired 49ers wide receiver Anquan Boldin met with the media on his arrival in the Bay Area. We take a look at a few of his comments.

The 49ers finalized some administrative issues Wednesday afternoon as recently acquired wide receiver Anquan Boldin got to town and passed his physical. The 49ers acquired Boldin from the Baltimore Ravens to start the new league year, but he was in Africa last week and could not get the physical done. The completion of the physical moves this deal from official to really official.

Boldin took some time to meet with the media on Wednesday, and discussed a variety of topics (AUDIO). He mentioned that he has already spoken with Colin Kaepernick, and they will eventually spend some time together working on their chemistry. He also did not expect to have any problems catching Kap's fastball.

Boldin was also asked about his contract situation. He is signed through this season, and he indicated there had been no discussions about any sort of extension. He was asked if he would be interested in extending the contract out, and he did say that would be nice. He would like the idea of sticking in one place for more than a year and feel wanted.

Boldin also got to meet Jim Harbaugh for the first time at the facility. He had this tweet to go with the picture above:

My favorite tweet from Boldin's time at the facility has to be this one:
