His pro day 40 time was 4.9-5.0. He tried to play with the 250lbs that GMs like to see in a linebacker but you can tell he plays at 235lbs in season. I'd love for Trent Baalke to pick him up in the second round if he falls. Historically OLBs who run in the 4.8 and father fall into the second round or further. This will be interesting because he's not the typical track star that flashes athleticism without production like Mingo. Hes the super productive every down pass rusher that put up some bad numbers with the added 15lbs. He'd be a great chance of pace so Aldon Smith can get a breather and if he excels we could always trade him like Alex Smith for more picks.
Honestly would you take a pass rusher in the first round that ran a 4.9 40 and may have medical issues. I'd have a hard time selling that to my owner of a franchise. As long as he checks out medically he could sub in for Aldon Smith or Ahmad Brooks.
Oh and btw he led the nation in (TFLs) tackles for loss. The eye in the sky doesn't lie
