Special teams & the draft - need info

Hey all,

I've been meaning to write a post about our Special Teams, including the composition for the 4 units and what it may suggest about our 2013 draft strategy. But I am stuck because I can't find the right stats for our 4 ST units: Kickoff coverage, Punt coverage, Kickoff reception & Punt reception.

Do you guys know where I can find the following information: ST players for each unit, their snap counts, tackles & other relevant stats, and the player points assigned by our coaching staff after film review.

I often see Maiocco, Barrows and others referencing that player points info in their articles, but I am not sure where they get it from. Is it publicly available? I think that is a really key piece of data and something fans are relatively unaware of. For example, did you know that Demarcus Dobbs had one of the highest coaches-assigned ST points before he got injured? That bodes well for him staying on the roster for 2013.

I am working with the premise that most would agree with: Our ST were awesome in 2011, mediocre in 2012 and has lots of room for improvement in 2013. Given the evolution of our offense, and the likely step (or two) back on defense, we are very likely to play in higher scoring games. Thus, the impact of Special Teams (coverage, kicking, punting, returns) may be magnified both in terms of "hidden" yards gained/allowed & field position battle.

Anyways. Help would be very much appreciated.
