Golden Nuggets: Predicting Trent Baalke's plans? Good luck with that!

USA TODAY Sports

Friday, April 12th, 2013 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the web.

Good morning ladies and gents! It looks like there hasn't been a whole lot to talk about since the last time I did the Golden Nuggets. With the draft fast approaching, everybody is wondering what's going to happen and which player the 49ers will land at No. 31. Personally, I feel like they will trade the pick, either up or down, depending on who is available.

Of course, trying to predict what Trent Baalke and the rest of the 49ers' front office will do in the draft is rather silly, isn't it? After Aldon Smith, A.J. Jenkins and many others, I've given up on trying to predict what they're going to do. At the end of the day they're going to go after the one player that they know they want, and predicting at this point is pointless.

But it's fun! Onto the links.
