Week-by-week fan prediction poll: week 8 (sort of) at Jaguars

I say "sort of" at Jaguars because the red and gold will be hopping the pond to play this game in London! The "American football" match will be held at the legendary Wembley Stadium, which was also the site for this wonderful happening:

Anyway, I'm sure I don't need to tell you the Jags were a bad team last season. They tied with the Chiefs for last place in the league with a 2-14 record. And while the team retained Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne as their quarterbacks, they've made some steps forward for 2013. On top of picking up former Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley as their head coach, the Jaguars nabbed some notable players in the offseason like CB Marcus Trufant, OT Luke Joeckel and RB Justin Forsett.

They also kept Maurice Jones-Drew. And while he certainly didn't burn up the stat boxes last year with his injury, the three-time pro bowler has still been one of the better running backs in the league over his career.

So yes, the Jaguars didn't do too well last season. But they've got some talent and some fresh faces, and they could at least improve, if not actually earn a winning record, in 2013.

For more on the Jaguars, here's a preview piece by AnthonyLy.
