By this time we all know that Tarrell Brown lost a large chunk of money this year. Every year that a player in the NFL plays with out getting a large amount of money is a year that they will never get back and is a large hit to there retirement. I say pay the man. Not just give him the money, but offer him a contract extension. He understands that he is out $2 million, which is roughly 1/3 of the money he has earned in his career to date. Extend him a year give him his salary back this year and give him an offer of $4 million next year. It would be good for both sides. Tarrell Brown gets paid this year and gets some insurance against a career threatening injury and the 49ers get to keep T Brown an extra year at a discounted price. In reality it would be giving him $6 mil next year, just giving him some of it now.
