Happy Fourth of July, everybody! Obviously it's a slightly bigger deal for our American readers, but Happy Fourth nonetheless. We'll have content today, but we're operating on a bit more of a weekend schedule today. Personally, after the last day and a half, I'd prefer we have no news.
I didn't include a ton of Ahmad Brooks links, because there really wasn't anything new late in the day. Some people seemed to think the decision to not execute the warrant was news, but in reality that was something that had happened last week. The DA's office is still deciding on the case.
Speaking of Brooks, he will be the focus of the first Niners Nation podcast on Friday. I have wanted to started a podcast for some time now, but I never took the time to do it. Well, SB Nation is doing some things with Blog Talk Radio and we've got an account set up. We'll be operating the podcast live, and then you'll be able to access it after the fact on iTunes, and at the Blog Talk Radio website. Here is our site page.
This first podcast will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. PT. This is not the planned time moving forward. Rather, this first episode is a chance to try it out, and see how things go. I will be hosting it by myself, but the plan is for people to co-host in the future. Ideally we'll have multiple episodes per week. This first episode will be 30 minutes long, but future episodes will be longer. I'll post a link with an open thread and you all can listen if you're around, and even call in if you want.
Speaking of the podcast, how many people want to listen live? And if so, what times are generally good if you wanted to listen live and potentially call in? Would it have to be after work hours if you wanted to call in?
