Let's have some fun and try to put some out-there NFL season predictions.
I'll go first:
#1 - Niners make playoffs, but offense carries team. Defense falls off a cliff. Our defense is getting just a bit too old and slow in the middle, and they we're secretly awful during large portions of last years playoff run.
#2 - Alex Smith is terrible in KC and is benched by week 6.
#3 - Lions/Stafford explode to win the NFC north. It sorta makes sense for them to emerge after Detroit went bankrupt.
#4 - (Boldest so far!) Bills make the playoffs. They've got some nice talent on that team. Coaching was horrendous last year, if they can just get average play at QB...
#5 - Patriots miss playoffs - No Welker, no Gronk, no Hernandez, bad draft. They're time is just about up.
#6 - Vikings/Ponder are terrible(3-4 wins), and they'll miss Percy Harvin ALOT.
#7 - Geno Smith is a bust. He's being put in just about the worst possible situation for a raw rookie QB who's in need of some good coaching. They'll just throw him into the fire.
What's your bold prediction?
