Technical Questions #93 (There you go Wombat!)

How do teams handle our Front 7 this season
Question is fairly simple using these parameters:

I am just assuming the base 3-4 to start with guys with these players (someone correct me if I put guys on the wring side of the field please. I never get that right)

RayMac-----Ian WIlliams----Cowboy

Ahmad--Will----Bo-----Aldon

If Ian Williams (we need a nickname for this guy) can show the "stuffing" and penetration he had against the Ponies last week, and create some double teams on him, what the heck do other teams do about Cowboy (who has to be DTeamed usually). Ray will handle his side as usual and teams have to worry about what the LB's are doing

Say the front 3 handle all 5 linemen easily, does that mean teams are going to have to use a lot of 2TE sets JUST to protect the QB? If it takes the whole Oline to to just keep the pocket available that would mean not much in the way of running room up the middle wouldn't it?

Which leave you running to the edges or throwing. But running outside brings you up against Ahmad and Aldon, not the best odds in the world.

Then that leaves going thru the air. I can't see there being a lot of time for deep routes all that often since our 7 will be putting pressure on from the snap, so that leaves lots of short routes doesn't it?

Am I missing something here or is this front 7 quite possibly even better than last year, making only the assumption that Ian Williams can stuff that middle as good as, if not better than, last season?
