49er !st Round Picks Stink Up the 'Stick

The stinky haze over the stadium Friday night was exhaust from 2 49er 1st Round Draft picks.

One was, of course, AJ Jenkins who seems incapable of even getting downfield....Apparently he hasn't been taught to run after being bumped....Or maybe his shorts are still too full of his signing bonus from last year, keeping him from running.... AJJ -- that man the Niners can't afford to cut.....

Then there was Alex Smith, back for an encore performance at the Stick...For the diehard fans who missed Alex, they were treated to a deja vu performance....A few dink passes if his first receiver was open...a sack if not...and only a single 3rd down conversion....It was actually a joy to have a reminder of what we are not missing. My only wish was that the Chiefs had benched him after his first series to spare all parties the embarrassment....Sometimes visions of seasons past are worse than night terrors.

BJ Daniels gets my vote for #2 QB....He oozed aggressiveness and vitality -- while The unReal McCoy and Tolkien (or whatever his name is) seemed to be trying to find their j-straps....both were pathetic. Perhaps like Smith, they don't have the stuff that even Harba can mold into a QB....
