The past 2 years, I caught 3 games at Candlestick and 6 road games, including a few playoffs and the Super Bowl. Something strange seems to separate 9ers and NO fans from Atlanta, Baltimore, et al, fans. Our tix were effectively in the same place at all venues. At Candlestick and in New Orleans, you will have a hard time watching the game up close if you want to spend the game sitting down. Everyone's on their feet and into the game. New Orleans was the same. Many other venues have their fans happily on their butts, asking 9er fans to sit down. At the Superbowl, I saw a 9ers fan reseated by security, because she refused to watch the game on her butt and she was disturbing the Raven's fans behind her. In Atlanta, some drunk idiot poured his beer on my brother, because he refused to sit down during the winning drive.
So, maybe the problem is with me. Maybe I misunderstand NFL etiquette and need to ride the game on my posterior?
