As most of my guesses on the fringe player performance went wrong, instead of another roster projection, I selected five players, each with different fate. Given how bad my offseason predictions were on player performance, even I won't take it very seriously.
The player who gets traded before the 4th preseason game: OLB Cam Johnson
Haralson has the most trade value, but I think it is Johnson who gets traded for a 7th rounder to a playoff contender.
Unexpected veteran cut: OL Adam Snyder
He is cut for a rookie in a very controversial move, see below.
Surprise rookie to make it: OT Patrick Omameh
Follow what the coaches do, not what they say. They are giving Omameh a very long look. He might make it, despite his mistakes and bad press.
PS-eligible player who gets cut ,waived, and claimed by another team: OT Carter Bykovski
There will be at least one OL who won't survive through the waiver wire.
Player who is sneaked on the PS: DE Lawrence Okoye
No team was willing to spend a 7th-rounder on him. He did not wow anyone on the field, no one will sacrifice a roster spot for a development that requires at least two more years.
What is your take?
