It's Deja Vu All Over Again!

Chills my bones to watch the Unreal McCoy at QB -- it's like having flashbacks of seeing Alex Smith once again....only thing that's different is #2 vs #11.

Like Smith, the Colt dances in the pocket, panics if his 1st receiver isn't immediately available, can't check off to secondary targets, and then takes off like a scared bunny (at least he seems to avoid taking the sacks that AS did). Also, the longer the pass, the lower the accuracy. In other words, he is a "dink" passer just as AS is.

It's a stretch to see him as a viable stand in for Kap....

BJ may be raw material, but he's clearly got more moxie, pure athletic talent, and a stronger, more accurate arm that the Unreal one....

Unfortunately, it looks like McCoy has landed in that place where Harba seems to personally identify with him -- the Harba empathetic blind spot for wannabe QB....
